Apply new ways of thinking to create new ways of working
You will be based in Electrolux Food Preservation site in Susegana (TV) only 1 hour distance from Venice, where we are undergoing multimillion industry 4.0 investment. Here you will interact with different functions of the organization such as Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain with the common goal to create the refrigeration of the future.
We are looking for a 6 months intern be part of the newly Manufacturing Quality team with the opportunity to collaborate on challenging assignment and taking the lead of a cross functional team in the search for the root causes of defects and in the implementation of corrective measures. The project aims to minimize the costs deriving from the reworking and waste of the components to be replaced (minimum target -10% on both cost items
Your main tasks:
- mapping of the packaging and storage flow on the four production lines
- quality gate for detailed collection of the frequencies and types of the defect
- search for root causes
- definition and implementation of short-term buffer measures
- definition of long-term actions on the pilot line
- validation of results and extension to other lines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in management or Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledge in MS-Office applications
- Knowledge in Excel desirable
- Required languages: Italian language is mandatory and Fluent English written and spoken
