In Italy, MSD has been present for more than 60 years, with approximately 1,000 employees and significant investments in research, not only for clinical studies conducted in the Country (107 clinical studies with 503 sites involved and investments exceeding €49 million in 2019), but also for initiatives to support independent research (more than $40 million donated in the last 6years).
The group is active in Italy not only with the division of drugs and vaccines for human use, but also with Vree Health, a company of solutions and services of techno-assistance for health, as well as with the MSD Foundation.
In addition, we are present with the division MSD Animal Health, which manufactures and markets animal health drugs and vaccines.
